Committed to individualized, evidence-based care

Addiction is a complex—yet treatable—disease. Reaching out for help for yourself or someone else is the critical first step on the road to recovery. As you consider the best way forward, we encourage you to choose a program with a comprehensive and medically proven approach. At the Master Center for Addiction Medicine, we offer long-term, integrated care in a supportive and welcoming environment that is focused on healing and recovery.

With over 100 years of combined recovery and addiction treatment experience, we can confidently individualize our approach to each patient’s care and include a combination of evidence-based medical practice, counseling and therapy, therapeutic communities, and advanced toxicology. Through an integrated continuum of care framework, the Master Center guides patients toward healthy behaviors for sustained recovery.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

This 6-week treatment program allows individuals in recovery to meet their life’s daily obligations while also receiving treatment for their addiction. Taking place four times per week, IOP sessions provide addiction education and psychotherapy components while encouraging patients to apply recovery skills to their daily lives.

The Detox Program

Detox Program

During our 30-day Ambulatory Detox Program, each patient works with a team of medical experts to complete a full therapeutic and psychiatric assessment with individualized recommendations for ongoing treatment. Each patient is medically managed to treat withdrawal symptoms and achieve stabilization.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program

Our Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program uses specialized medications to help patients with opioid and alcohol dependence avoid withdrawal symptoms, become physically stable, and continue to abstain from drug use. Includes a combination of drug testing, physician counseling and monitoring, and group and individual therapy.

Sustained Recovery Program

For patients who do not need detox or MAT, but are seeking long-term recovery, the Sustained Recovery Program is an effective, individualized, and flexible approach. This program draws on medical, psychiatric, and therapeutic treatments to engage patients in their sustained recovery.

Insight Program

All new patients are enrolled in our INSIGHT Program as part of their first month of treatment at the Master Center for Addiction Medicine. Patients will participate in specific psycho-educational group meetings focusing on important topics and information necessary for early recovery.
