Master Center’s newly relocated Harrisonburg office is now inside the Rocktown Health Center in downtown Harrisonburg, VA. Other than addiction rehab, the center offers a variety of other services to help patients with different needs. From peer support to HIV/AIDS resources, Rocktown’s healthcare organizations are dedicated to addressing the urgent medical needs of the Harrisonburg region while providing affordable and accessible care.

HCHC Care Management

The Healthy Community Health Centers (HCHC) Care Management organization is devoted to addressing challenges of those living with HIV/AIDS. Staffed by both medical and non-medical case managers, HCHC offers free HIV testing, case management, health education and outreach, PrEP navigation, and support for those living with the disease. Their goal is to improve general health outcomes, combat HIV/AIDS stigma, and reduce transmission.

Strength in Peers

Strength In Peers is a non-profit, peer-run organization that assists those in recovery from mental health disorders, substance abuse, and trauma-related challenges. The center is staffed by individuals who’ve overcome these challenges, with the mission of offering hope, support, and advocacy for those seeking recovery. They offer walk-in services to access community resources for food, housing, and employment, as well as individual peer support, case management, and harm reduction services.

Sentara Behavioral Health

Sentara Behavioral Health at Rocktown Center offers outpatient addiction treatment programs for adults suffering from addiction. These services include substance abuse assessments, individual counseling, and life recovery groups focusing on developing coping strategies for managing the complex emotions of addiction.

HCHC Downtown (Coming Soon)

Healthy Community Health Centers (HCHC) Downtown is a federally funded, patient-centered community health facility that aims to make healthcare accessible to everyone by offering a variety of services and programs. The center will include medical health services like family medicine and pediatric care, behavioral and mental health programs, dental care, controlled pharmaceutical services, and care management for those with HIV/AIDS. Opening in 2025, HCHC Downtown will offer same-day appointments for all patients, regardless of insurance coverage or income, with interpreters available to ensure equity in treatment across cultures.
