GLEN ALLEN, VA, JAN. 7, 2025—Master Center for Addiction Medicine announces the hire of medical provider Keeley Grimm, DNP, BS, RN. Grimm will serve patients within the Greater Richmond region and provide addiction treatment consultations to primary care physicians. She is the fourth medical provider to join the Master Center roster in as many months to serve Virginia’s growing demand for high-quality addiction treatment.
Grimm is a board-certified adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner and doctor of nursing with four years of experience in the nursing and addiction medicine field. Her experience involves the safe administration of medication-assisted treatment, care coordination, harm reduction within hospitals and prisons, work in reproductive health and thousands of hours in primary care settings.
Grimm holds a bachelor of science in health services from James Madison University and a doctor of nursing practice, concentrating in adult gerontology primary care, from the University of Vermont. She also holds a Virginia Advanced Practice Nursing License, a Vermont Registered Nursing License and an AANP Adult Gerontology certification.
As a medical provider and primary addiction medicine provider for the addiction hotline for physicians—the Adult Psychiatric Access Line (APAL)—Grimm will work alongside Healthcare Navigators and other licensed addiction medicine professionals to provide quality addiction consultation to primary care providers, emergency clinicians and other healthcare professionals looking for information on treating patients with substance use disorder. As a Master Center addiction treatment provider, Grimm will work with an interdisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans for patients, as well as administer medication-assisted treatment as part of a comprehensive recovery plan
“We are excited to welcome Keeley to the Master Center team,” said Master Center CEO, Anna McKean. “Her expertise in addiction medicine will be an invaluable resource to allow primary care physicians to address addiction in their patient populations.”
“It’s exciting to join an organization so deeply committed to patient care and advancing addiction education,” said Keeley Grimm. “I’m eager to serve as a resource for healthcare providers who may be less familiar with substance use disorders and to help break down the stigma surrounding addiction.”
Grimm is located at the Glen Allen office where she will staff the APAL hotline beginning in January 2025.
