Evening Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Substance Use Disorders in Glen Allen, Virginia

As part of the integrated care offered by Master Center, we are now providing our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for Substance Use Disorders during the evening hours, making IOP services available to those who cannot attend treatment during the daytime. The IOP consists of a structured substance abuse treatment program provided in the form of 24 group therapy meetings, four times per week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6 to 9 pm. We are currently offering evening IOP at our Glen Allen, Virginia office.

In addition to the psychotherapeutic process and engagement, patients will be equipped with substance abuse education, coping skills, relapse prevention skills, and community resources. The IOP provides a valuable opportunity to build a solid foundation for a sustained recovery process.

  • Location: 4212 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060
  • Program Hours: 6:00 – 9:00pm
  • Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

“The Master Center IOP allows patients to continue working, maintain their current living situation, and improve their relationships while receiving treatment services for substance use disorders and recovery,” says Dr. Andreas Bienert, Clinical Program Director, Master Center. “The program is open to adults age 18 and older with substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions that impair daily life functioning. Family Therapy occurs weekly during one of the regularly scheduled therapy groups.”

Individuals enrolled in the Master Center IOP will gain access to a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including addiction medicine, addiction psychiatry, recovery coaching, and behavioral health, which supports aftercare and long-term recovery support beyond the IOP.
