Master Center Announces New Medical Provider, Melody Irby, MPA, PA-C

GLEN ALLEN, VA, SEP. 23, 2024—Master Center for Addiction Medicine announces the hiring of medical provider Melody Irby, MPA, PA-C. Irby will serve patients within the Greater Richmond region.

Irby’s expertise involves delivering exceptional, compassionate patient-centered care with a high level of independent clinical judgment and support. Her professional experience encompasses 15 years as a PA in different specialties, including urgent care, dermatology and addiction medicine.

Irby holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Old Dominion University and a Master of Physician Assistant degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She holds certifications and licenses from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), the Virginia Board of Medicine and the Virginia Prescriptive Authority.

As a medical provider, Irby will participate with our Master Center multi-disciplinary treatment team to provide evidence-based addiction treatment to her patient panel. Additionally, she will manage her patients’ treatment with quality, individualized recovery plans tailored to address specific medical and behavioral needs.
